Painted Imitation & Decorative Surfaces
Lewis Wharf Beam 2019. The “wooden” beam over the archway in this photo is actually a sheetrock enclosed pipe chase painted to match the look and feel of the actual wooden beams in the hallway of this Boston office building- such as the beam with the white wire.
HFBT Bricks 2019 This brick wall in an apartment in Boston was originally painted a solid light yellow. Rather than sandblasting the paint to reveal the actual brick, it was decided to re-paint the wall to imitate and match the other natural brick walls in the apartment.
HFBT Timbers 2019 These ceiling timbers in an apartment in Boston were originally painted a solid white. Rather than stripping the paint to reveal the natural wood, it was decided to re-paint them to imitate and match the other un-painted natural timbers in the apartment.
